For a long time Luke has desperately wanted to be able to ride a bike. Last summer my Mom spent a lot of time pulling him on his bike because he wasn't tall enough to reach the pedals or big enough to understand pedaling. Well, something clicked last Saturday and he got it! Of all places he was in the house. On the main level,riding like a crazy person! He was so proud! We were too, of course! That Monday he rode all the way around the neighborhood lake to the pavillion to feed the fish. (Not by himself of course, during the family after dinner walk). He did so well. He is really growing up.
Check out this big scrape. He was pushing his tractor on the driveway (running with it) when it hit a pebble and stopped and he kept going. His face was on the driveway and his feet up in the air. He wailed for a while but we got him cleaned up and he was back to his tractor in no time. Cute even when he's banged up isn't he?!?!?

Oh poor little Luke! You're right though, he is cute even when banged up a little. I can't believe he has a bike and is riding it now! He is such a big boy! Loved the pics of him and Nate together. Too cute! We miss you guys!
