{Luke's Hearing, Part VIII}

Today we met with Luke's CI surgeon, Dr Gadre.  He reviewed the MRI and CT and determined we should implant the right ear (what Joe and I had been thinking also).  We are waiting on inurance approval (should take about 1-2 weeks) and then we can order the implant and sound processor (which should arrive about 2 weeks after ordering).  Then we are ready for surgery.  This puts us pretty close to my due date, but things have been pretty quiet with the baby and the progesterone has been doing it's job.  We are just letting things play out and trusting that God's plan is better than anything I could hatch!  It's hard for me because I am such a planner - but I am learning to let go, a little.
