{Merry Christmas From Us to You}

Tomorrow is Christmas. Our first with a tree up, since we've had kids. Our first in our new house. Our first as a family of four. Our first to try to establish some traditions of our own. There are lots of fun ideas...and some we didn't accomplish this year that I would like to accomplish next, like a Jesse tree, making a birthday cake for Jesus on Christmas eve, and Christmas jimmies (that's how Luke says jammies). What will accomplish is being in our home with our tree with some great presents for the boys. We also went to Mass at 6:00 tonight and saw the little kids reenact the story of Mary & Joseph. Of course Mass will be a part of our Christmas (aka Christ's Mass) tradition. We will probably do a special breakfast and lounge around a little. My Mom is here so she will be part of our tradition building too. But for all the traditions I want to start, the most important thing will always be that we celebrate Jesus' birth. I hope the boys know that this day is about a gift so much more amazing than any present Joe and I could ever buy them. A gift that doesn't cost a dime. A gift of a baby, that would grow into a man, who would divide time, and change the world, one life at a time.

Happy Birthday Jesus!
