{Big Changes For Nate}

At the beginning of December Nathan started sleeping in the crib! It's a little sad but it's also very exciting. He has been sleeping better since he's been in there and so have I! He gets up once or twice a night and I am finally using the glider to give him his bottle and rock him back to sleep. I usually fall asleep too...and whenever I wake up just put him back in the crib and go back to bed myself.

Another big change is that he has started eating food...well baby food, which is really just moosh. But he doesn't know better yet! He started on oatmeal the middle of December and this week on green beans. Tomorrow starts peas - YUM! Tonight was the best he has eaten for me. He had the equivalent of a whole tub of food! He scarfed it down! Here he is eating oatmeal for the first time earlier this month...

How cute is he with his little oatmeal facial?!?He is also doing much better with his tummy time. We have struggled with this one with him. For a long time he has HATED tummy time. He would scream and cry or give up and just lay his head down in protest. Not anymore though. Now he rolls from his back to his tummy and is very interested in everything around him, especially this green balloon. He had fun playing with brother with the balloon too.
The other big change, sitting up on his own. For a minute or two at least. He can't do it real long, but he does it. It's crazy to see him change so quickly. It's only been in the last month or so that he has really started rolling from his back to his tummy all the time.

The first picture of our boys sitting (on their own) beside each other!

And perhaps the biggest change is Nate's helmet came in Wednesday. We have been in the adjustment period where we wear it a few hours, take it off a few, wear it a few... He is doing well with it. I know it can't be comfortable but he is a little trooper! He's pretty cute with it too! Right now we are guessing he will need to wear it for a couple months but we will see!

{Picture to come soon}

Our baby is growing up so fast, just like Luke did...I am trying so hard to soak in every moment with each of them because it goes too darn fast!
