Our friends, the Graves Family, told us about the Strawberry Festival in Starlight IN. On Saturday we headed up and met Amanda, Kirk, and Karter and their friends Lauren and Josh. We had some yummt BBQ and the best was the "build your own, as big as you want strawberry shortcake" for only $3.75!!! I pitty the people who had to cut all those strawberries, the line was always about 50+ people long! It was wonderful!!! We left with a flat of berries that my Grandma and Aunt helped by washing and cutting up - I added sugar and a little fresh lemon and put them in the freezer - next winter when we need a taste of summer they'll be there! Thanks to the Grave's for telling us about it!

Strawberry Festival
